Awards for All is supported by the Arts Council England,
the Big Lottery Fund, the Heritage Lottery Fund and Sport England. Grants are
awarded between £300 and £10,000 for people to take part in art, sport,
heritage and community activities, and projects that promote education, the
environment and health in the local community.
You can apply for an Award for All
if:
You
are a not-for-profit group or you are a parish or town council, school or
health body
You
have a bank account that requires at least two unrelated people to sign each
cheque or withdrawal
You
have a governing body with at least three unrelated members
You
can use the grant within one year
If you fulfil the criteria set above then the next step is
to complete the application form and send it back for grant consideration. Once
received Awards for All will inform you within eight (8) weeks if you have been
successful in securing a grant or not.
Please Note:
Over three quarters of the applications received are sent
back, or rejected altogether, because they contain basic errors, missing
information, or ask for a grant for something that Awards for All does not fund.
So please ensure you read the guidance notes before completing the application.
Also, please ensure that all documentation requested with
the application is provided (See page 8 of the guidance notes).
If your application is received without these documents, your
application will not be looked at and will be sent back to you so that you can
add the missing details. It will then be an additional eight week wait before you
can send the form back for the second time.
Examples
of missing information and documents include:
Bank
statements are missing or unacceptable
Accounts
are missing or unacceptable
The
dates of birth of contacts are missing, and
Referees
are not suitable.
