Netball South West has teamed up with Budehaven Community School to help the school with its ambitious project to introduce netball to schools in Ethiopia. Ethiopia is Africa's oldest independent country but is better known for its droughts and famines, its long civil conflict and a border war with Eritrea. Ethiopia is one of Africa's poorest states; the economy revolves around agriculture, which employs over 85% of the population, and many Ethiopians depend on food aid from abroad.
