TEAMBATH VISIT DORSET

TeamBath spent a weekend in September at the Sir David English Netball Centre in Bournemouth as part of their recent tour of the South West.

The event was organised by the East and West Dorset Netball Associations and the programme was designed to offer coaching by the TeamBath squad to young and senior players in Dorset. A coaches workshop on talent identification and performance ran alongside the event, tutored by Denise Ellis, England U19 and TeamBath coach.

Over 250 local players and 20 coaches participated in the event and a large spectator crowd watched the final matches with Teambath competing against local sides, Aquarians and Bournemouth.

Everyone marvelled at the skills and speed of TeamBath and the feedback from the players coached was enthusiastic and full of praise and excitement.

The event was run in partnership with Bournemouth Borough Council and Active Dorset.
