Attention all Coaches!

A successful coach is able to plan, carry out and evaluate sessions effectively.

As Coaches – do we know what our strengths and weaknesses are?  Do we know in which area we need to improve?  Critical thinking, continuous self-evaluation and self-reflection are all skills you need to take your coaching forward.

The Education & Training Group recognise this and are in the process of coordinating a “Needs Led” Regional CPD Programme.

In partnership with sportscoachUK we will be implementing Coach Education Opportunities that aim to support and help you develop in your Coaching.

We have already had a superb response with over 50 Coaches in the South West Region interested in accessing these opportunities.

If you would like to be part of the Regional CPD Programme please access the following link and complete the sportscoachUK Coach Profile form.  Your details will then be added to the database and you will be contacted with all of the information.

Netball needs great coaches.

What is acceptable?

There is growing concern being expressed about what is and what is not permissible in the area of physical contact with children and young people in sport. Some misleading and inaccurate information has been promoted within the sports sector and this can undermine the confidence of coaches and others in applying safe and appropriate coaching methods.
